Get to know All Creatures Deserving

Everyone needs a little help sometimes, and that is no different for wildlife. All creatures deserve their best chance to thrive in their natural habitat. Often victims of human negligence, most wildlife that gets destabilized are left for dead, and All Creatures Deserving aims to be the gateway to their successful rehabilitation.

Founded  in 2017 All Creatures Deserving began as Liz’s Little Wildlife Rescue. Based in Portage, a city in Southwest Michigan. Liz, the namesake of Liz’s Little Wildlife Rescue had been rehabilitating wildlife entirely on her own. This was until things became not-so-little.

In 2021 a chance meeting with an aspiring rehabber and a media manager lead to talks of growth and expansion and in spring 2022 The idea of All Creatures Deserving was formed.
Taking Liz’s Little Wildlife Rescue and turning it into the foundation of a wildlife welfare charity is no minor feat. Despite an exuberant list of decisions to be made, and more wildlife coming in than ever before, the decision to file as a non-profit was made.

In summer 2022, All Creatures Deserving became a Michigan based non-profit, and the journey began. A full rebrand is currently underway with all kinds of exciting new projects, ideas, and ways to be involved.
