This month marks the beginning of our large fundraiser efforts. We also celebrated Liz’s & Ash’s Birthdays this month so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our leadership team!

A Message From Our Director

Hello everyone!
I hope you enjoyed our first newsletter. This Spring has been a consistent reminder that we are in need of a bigger space. We have over 50 baby opossums, alone right now!

We are looking for a property that can enable us to mature our operations as well as take on other types of animals that require more space.

To make this happen we are launching a capital campaign and seeking corporate sponsors. As individuals you can continue to volunteer, become Patrons, or donate supplies.

Garage Sale

Join us June 2nd & 3rd to fundraise for All Creatures Deserving
Come join us for our first garage sale of the year. This will be the smaller one of the two and will take place at a different location to our sale last year.

We are accepting sale-worthy donations for both this sale and our huge end of summer sale; if you have items to donate, they can be dropped off at the address listed on the event at any time (place in front of garage door if no one is home)

There will be rescue information available, merch for sale, and a minigame to play!

Meet Nat

Volunteer since: September 2022

Favorite Animal: “I’ve been fascinated with the little brown bat since I was a child. The duckbill platypus is a close second.”

What do you like about volunteering: “I like giving back to nature and doing something greater than my own purpose. It also takes my mind off pain from an accident I was involved in a few years back. After we pick up food donations for the animals, we’ll sometimes stop for tacos and its nice to catch up with other volunteers. Despite my disabilities, I still find ways to help out and encourage others to do so.”

Fun Fact : “I raise three ducks in my backyard, Darkwing, Howard, and Duck Tails.”

Creature Feature

Meet Marty & Alex

Species: Gray Squirrel

Age: 3 months old (first baby squirrels of the year)

History: Orphaned when a tree was trimmed and they lost their mama.

Status: Currently doing well, transitioning to living outside in the large outdoor enclosure, and will be released later this summer

Fun Fact: These two came in during opening night of Liz’s daughter's musical, Madagascar, and they are named after the main characters in the show.
